Great read! I’ve been so leery of time traveling stories for so long, but this may be just the one to give me hope again. It sounds fascinating. I love the concept of the drama coming from how they can’t alter the past. That’s tension!

And thank you for the shout out!

Ah, no worries, I'll shout out MangaCraft as much as I can! ☺️

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of time travel stories either, so Link Click was a revelation. It's so underrated as an anime, which is crazy considering how good it is. Let me know what you think if you do check it out.

Adding it to my watch list. I have not ventures far into anime since I was a kid (Battle of the Planets, I think it was called?). And yeah, Asian series are generally so much better paced.

Oh, yes do! And let me know what you think! ☺️ I agree, Asian series are generally so much better paced. I need to spend some time dissecting why that is and how they do it so well!

I might check that out! I don’t know all that much about anime but you’re selling this one, and I can get some Chinese language practice at the same time, bonus!

Definitely check it out if you can and let me know what you think! ☺️ Oh wow, are you new to learning Chinese or are you already pretty fluent? I'm learning Japanese (very, very slowly), which is a great excuse to keep watching plenty of anime.

I lived in China for about 12 years on and off, until last year, so I speak decent Mandarin but am worried I’ll lose it if I don’t make an effort to practice 😆

Oh wow, that is so cool! So you could totally watch Link Click and not need the subtitles! I'm a little jealous! I had a Hungarian friend who after 8 years of living in the UK couldn't remember certain Hungarian words because she just never used them anymore, which you wouldn't expect with your own native language 😄 watching shows in the language you want to retain is a good way to keep your hand in, I expect.

I started watching it tonight and before I knew it was 3 episodes in! It’s making me “homesick” for Beijing - the street scenes, the accents, the food… Thanks for recommending it!

You're very welcome! I'm so glad you're enjoying it! ☺️ I'd love to visit Beijing one day. I'm planning a holiday to Japan next year with my sister, but we're thinking of making it an extended trip so we can see some of China too.

You can easily get to China from Japan, and British passport holders can now go without a visa for I think 10 days? Anyway, if you decide to go and want any tips for visiting Beijing let me know! And Japan is a great place to visit - I’ve only been once but it was wonderful
